Refund Policy
At Black Mule Forestry, we take pride in delivering high-quality forestry, land clearing, and fire mitigation services. Because our work involves labor, equipment, fuel, and mobilization costs, the following refund policy applies to all projects.
Payment for Completed Work
Customers are responsible for payment of all work that has been completed, regardless of whether the entire project has been finished. Refunds will not be issued for completed services that have been performed in accordance with the approved estimate or contract.
Deposits
Any required deposit secures your place on our schedule and may be used toward project planning, mobilization, equipment preparation, permitting, or material costs. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has been scheduled or preparations have begun.
Project Changes or Cancellation
If a customer chooses to cancel a project after work has started, payment is due for:
-
All completed work.
-
Any materials purchased specifically for the project.
-
Equipment mobilization and transportation costs.
-
Any other expenses incurred on behalf of the project.
Customer Satisfaction
If you believe any portion of the work was not completed as agreed, please notify us within seven (7) days of project completion. We will inspect the concern and, if appropriate, work with you to resolve any issues. Our goal is to provide quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Weather and Unforeseen Conditions
Forestry work is dependent on weather, site conditions, and safety considerations. Project schedules may change due to weather, wildfire restrictions, equipment issues, or unforeseen site conditions. These delays do not qualify for refunds.
