Brush Clearing/Removal
Brush clearing is the removal of dense undergrowth such as shrubs, small trees, weeds, and overgrown vegetation that can choke out healthy trees and create dangerous wildfire fuel. This process opens up the landscape, improves access, and reduces the buildup of highly flammable materials on a property.
Using forestry mulchers (AKA a masticating head), chainsaws, and other specialized equipment, brush is cut, mulched, or removed to restore the land while minimizing soil disturbance. The result is a cleaner, healthier property that is easier to maintain.
Brush clearing is commonly used for wildfire prevention, improving defensible space around homes and structures, reclaiming overgrown land, and preparing properties for trails, fencing, or construction.
